Quran clearly states what is the punishment for not obeying him. So I guess drinking whether you are a Muslim, Jew or Hindu puts you in that category of people who are disobeying God. So I was actually saying what I have read in Quran, nothing more nothing less. Its upto God if he leys his mercy on those sinners and repent their sins later on.
