Man, I usually only watch the auditions for American Idol, I only followed it this year because of Taylor Hicks and Chris Whatshisface. Taylor Hicks has SO much soul, it's AMAZING, the guy can sing like a sum*****! Chris is good too, but more mainstream and commercial. Taylor sings the kind of ecclectic songs that I like. I really hope this guy wins, his performance of Levon was spectacular, God bless him.

I really like Chris.... but....i really did not like chicken little even though he was good, he is not rock star material...kind of geeky.....i wonder why they thought he was a sex symbol.

She was one of the best singers on the show! I would look forward to her singing. True she cannot sing country but man tonite’s results were NUTS!

^^ You are right. It came as a great shock. But I bet you all the "white" states were not too impressed by a black woman singing country. I bet that's where the least people voted for her.
She was surely a great idol ! She will be missed for her true spirit and beautiful voice.

Well no offense, but you have to be versatile
You just cant sing one type of music, those Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston type ballards and expect to win
your vocals have to be versatile and adapatable and sing various kinds of music
the problem with mandisa is that she could only sing those power ballards just like Paris Bennett.
I think either Chris or Kellie winning the competition this year
