I opened a thread earlier in AV forums entitled "If you could be famous". A very interesting pattern emerged there. Looks like people from our part of the world do not have ambitions or do not like to share their ambitions. Most of the responses are that they do not want to be famous for one or the other reason. I was chatting with my nephew other day and he told me that he wants to be a Chartered Accountant but he wanted me to keep it a secret because he did not want to be humiliated if he could not achieve his dreams.
So is it our culture not to be ambitious or keep your ambitions inside ? Or is it the fear of failure that we do not want to advertise our ambitions before we really achieve our goals ? I confess I used to be that kind of a guy.
*Interesting.........so now you are not that kind of a guy..........can you reveal now what your ambitions used to be? *
