sara - start with easy things and tackle the hard dishes later. I used to be able to cook for a week when I first got married. One dish a day and then once the week was over, we would go out to eat. So, yeah, learn things like daal, keema, rice, khogeena...the rest will all come once you have practiced and learnt the easy stuff.
I think it’s pretty easy.. if you buy all the ingredients from the store..if you buy the lasagna noodles, the recipe/directions for lasagna are written on the back.
Ok to make lasagna..
you cook the keema in pasta sauce, just bhoon it, you can add spinach to it if you want…
Boil the lasagna noodles (don’t get the no-boil necessary) just like you make reuglar pasta..
lay the noodles down on the cooking tray, and add the keema on top…add another layer of noodles and add the keema again.. and then add one more layer of noodles, and finally add the ricotta cheese and mozarella cheese on top..
Puree onions as base of salan fry them and they get brown super fast , also puree tomatoes, garlic and ginger together . pour it over fry onions and let it cook about 1 min base is ready then add MAsalas according to recipe or SHAAN MASALA zinda bad :) Happy cooking.
