Tell them you have a boy friend, and you do date with him occasionally (if you do not know them)… do tell this only if that makes them pleased and if your life get an easy way...
I told the same to some Goray to save my time; else they would have felt weird about me if I haven't told them this lie...
But to my colleagues and friends or any known person, I explained them about our culture and our religion that it does not allow us to have any physical relation with a girl prior to marriage! And this is easy to make them be aware of!
