Yes, I agree with u, one wrong does not make another wrong right, if Mqm is or was invoved in wrongdoings then they are guilty and deserve full condemnation. BUT SO DOES EVERY OTHER PUTHER WHO HAS DONE SO. This one sided, jaundiced constant attack against Mqm is nothing but plain bigotry and glosses over the hundred and thousands of murders and heart breaks done by the brutal Rangers (Punjab) and their Mullah Jihadis. Same goes for the other nationalist, liberal parties such as PPP that has indulged in plenty of state corruption and terrorism, wearing a uniform does not give a nyone a carte blanche to abduct, harrass and murder civilians.

Today I found this pamphlet enclosed within Sunday newspaper from city district government, Karachi which is dominated by Laloo Khayt Group, which says:
A single plastic bag is enough to block the sewrage line of a whole area (revelation, isn’t it?)
Plastic bag can’t be decomposed even in a 1000 years (Altaf bhai’s science laboratory at 90)
Plastic bags release from burning gases which may cause cancer (The tires, public and private vehicles which their Ghundas set on fire don’t cause anything.)
The 90% cause of blockage of all the sewrage system in Karachi is plastic bag. (And the broken, thin, inefficient and open lines don’t cause anything)
And in the bottom they say:
Use paper and cloth bags instead of plastic bags (because cloth and paper remove blockage of sewrage lines rather they are used to open them?)

At one hand they are discouraging the use of plastic bags, but since they know plastic bags can’t be avoided for their low cost and multipurpose, they are offering 30 micron size plastic bags, most probably because companies making this size bags are giving more Bhatta to Kaaloo Bhai of London, or Kaaloo bhai himself has established his factories of 30 micron plastic bags in Laaloo Khayt.
Funny that they don’t see crimes and the poor life conditions in Karachi, all they are worrying about is plastic bags.

What minority? When these bison ghundaz are running amock terrorizing the city with bhatta collection and mobile khori, the same old lame 'we're a minority excuse' does not work. Stop trying to portray the MQM thugs/terrorists as some kind of angels, as they are far from that.

What utter complete BS. Have u ever lived in Karachi? From what u write and express its quite clear that your knowledge of Karachi is limited to what has been fed to your narrow mind.
Lets take a walk down memory lane and dont be offended.
Back in 1971, when Pakistan was broken into two separate states, 250,000 Biharis were left stranded in Bangladesh never to join their country of choice while 90,000 proud Jawan Faujis who chose to lay down their weapons and live for another day were returned. Now these proud Faujis were Punjabi or Pukhtoon in majority.
Come ZA~Bhutto, Chief Martial Law Administrator cum President imposes quota system across Sindh that targets Urdu speaking locailities deliberatly under the pretext of giving rural Sindhi a fair chance. End result, influx of Sindhi waderas and ghoondas into urban universities leading to rampant corruption, robberies, dacoits and murders.
Then came the Russians into Afghanistan, once again Karachi saw a huge influx of Afghan refugees and still no sign of biharis yet. Only reason why Afghanis were allowed into Pakistan (Karachi)? they were fair people who had relatives who were childeren of the soil.
As these Afghanis came, so did guns and drugs. It was this lethal combination that resulted in violent crimes against Karachites and urdu speaking ppl in particular. Karachi University had not even heard of Muhajir till 1978, but was finally woken from its slumber when Pukhtoon, Baloch, Punjabi and Sindhi gangs were roaming freely in Karachi terrorizing the local population. These gangs were responsible for deaths, rapes, abductions, choree chakaree.
Against this state sponsored terrorism rose this massivly popular movement called MQM, and along with it rose this hugely popular anti-Mohajir sentiment that is alive even today.
Mqm may have come for the right cause but quickly fell into disarray and became what it opposed, tyrannical thugs that went wild with their new found power.
At the same time we saw state sponsored terrorism by NS and BB, common factor was their hatred of Mohajir or sud I say small guys rebellion that cud have sparked a middle class rebellion across Pakistan. Sindhi and Punjabi elites were concience of the threat Mqm posed and had to clamp down on their rising popularity. Thus the massive state sponsored brutal clamp down on Mohajirs in general. Hundred and hundreds of innocent boys disappeared overnight, hundreds were killed in fictitious counters called extra judicial murders. Thousand were harrassed and rangers were driving in their own country (Karachi/Hyderabd) with guns aimed at the enemy ie common citizen who was always a suspect. State cud arrest, kidnap and kill anyone with impunity and the victim was turned into the villian thru state propaganda.
Even today, we have Pathan, Punjabi gangs that roam around freely in Karachi suported by their uncles working in Police or Rangers, they are responsible for most of the crimes yet recieve no condemnation because its always easier to condemn Mqm, that pesky, dark critten.
I know of many friends/acquintances who were kidnapped by Sindhi gangs for ransom and their families had to pay off sitting ministers and parlimentarians of Sindhi descent may that be of PPP or PML or Jiyay Sindh.
So lets keep things in perspective thats all I ask for, iss humaam mein sub nangein hein, if any one thinks they are pakiza they better take another look in the mirror.

Thats is another fallacy. We have much bigger criminals, criminals who are sanctioned by the state and thus get reprieve and no public condemnation. On top of that list are the Jihadis. Count the number of people killed, maimed and destroyed by these crazy fanatic jihadis and u will understand where Iam coming from.
Similarly, to put the entire blame on Mqm for what happened in Karachi is another injustice. Like I mentioned in th epost above, Mqm came into existence in early eighties the same time we were hit by the Jihadi culture that was state sponsored and required militirization of the nation. It was in this environment with the influx of Afghan refugees and armed Jihadis that Karachi was turned into a burning inferno. This does not absolve Mqm of its atrocities but by the same standard we should not forget State and religious fanatic culpability.
And lets not forget the Punjabi+Pukhtoon Ittehad that was nothing but a Muscular demonstration of thuggery and ethnic chauvinism.

Another historical mistake. Mqm came into existence in the early eighties whereas Punjabi+Pukhtoon ehtnic reality nationally recognized and patronized has been in existence since 1947. As for the PPI, well it was formalized post Mqm success but comprsed of the biggest thugs who were patronized by their relatives in Govt., Poilce and other security agencies. Kidnapping, robberies, dacoits, rapes, murders and extortions were there monopoly till Mqm came and broke their hold, thus the resentment.
