Altaf said he would rather support the idea of resolution of issues through a dialogue but stressed that ‘first the writ of the state and Constitution will have to be established; a ceasefire and dialogue come next’.

Seeking an “unconditional ceasefire” from the Pakistani Taliban, Imran Khan today said targeted action should be taken against militants who do not join the peace process. Talking to journalists outside parliament, Khan said an operation should be carried out against Taliban militants involved in terrorism while negotiations are held with those ready for talks.

If no one is calling for hanging of Imran even when he is hurting people emotion and sentiment by supporting these Kharjees and making them hero, then why anyone would call for hanging of Imran if he would call army to save Pakistan from this turmoil? Is trusting and calling army worse crime than appeasing Kharjees and making them hero?

Imran is saying the same thing as others. But the problem is that he is not packaging and presenting his narrative properly. He had clearly demanded unconditional ceasefire from the TTP and wants the dialogue to take place under the Constitution. But I know nothing will go in his favour because he does not have a media team like MQM and the Noon League.
