While I agree that if we have to pick between Pakistan and democracy, we should pick Pakistan - but thinking that every solution is in military take over is stupidity. We have the biggest example in our neighboring county India, who fought the insurgency and terrorism for many many years; against Khalistan movement, Tamil tigers and Kashmir freedom fighters, but did it hundered percent under civilian govt. Maybe we can learn a thing or two from them.

In India, if politicians in power (most of them) were involved in looting and plundering the country so much that they were willing to let Punjab and Kashmir secede from India as long as it helps them becoming rich … would have started saying that ‘Naxalites’ are best thing that happened in India so that ‘Naxalites’ do not harm them (politicians) and let them loot the country with peace … should have started calling Indian army or their generals as traitors … should have started calling Indian soldiers killed by terrorists (or Naxalites) as people of hell who died in vain, terrorist (or Naxalites) killing Indian army and innocent civilians as People of God who would get rewarded after death, killed terrorist (or Nazalites) as martyrs … then … Be assured that we would have seen Military rule in India too and politicians getting hanged throughout Indian on every lamp posts.
