I think that one of the SILs gets to “wash the feet of the bride and groom”. That’s the water rasm that you see. (Too bad they couldn’t find a nice chaandi ka thaal or something to do it in…stupid people put an ugly plastic tub!)

The kitchen scene is of the bride “supposedly” cooking meetha. She never really cooks it…just stirs the pot that someone else has been slaving overr. :cb: Talk about ungli kata kay shaheed hona. That rasm is normally saved for a week or two after the rukhsati. It denotes when the bride officially takes over the household and starts to cook. The first dish she makes is sweet; usually kheer.

Rajputs ki.. Kuchh Khans bhi Rajputs hotey hain- mere biradri mein khans bhi hain jo ki rajputs hain.. rajputs are central asians and NOT south asians as Indians have falsely claimed for centuries.. Indian Rajputs South Asian (Dravidian) hain :)

LOL.. nice joke.. but I have no problems in accepting that rajputs are of aryan origin and the reason Britishers treat Pakistanis(except mahajir ppl) better is because we are closer to Aryans(whites) than the Indians
