Allah has 99 names and I’m 100% sure that any one name must got the same meaning as the word ‘Khuda’. So whats so controversial for calling Him as ‘Khuda’?

Exactly.. I don’t think Saudis use that either. Its more a translation / equivalent of Persian as well local phrases like ‘Allah Nigahbaan’, ‘Allah Beli’, etc

arabs, i believe, say “fee-amaan Allah” instead of Allah Haafiz…we, in Indian sub-continent, say that as well but not as often as Allah Haafiz…i and my family says may be 30% of the time. usually, older generation says that and some younger people copy them :wink:

in my family we used to say Khuda HAfiz…

then we switched to Allah Hafiz…(Thanks to Ptv)…issi bahane Zikr bhi hojata hai:)

When one says Allah HAfiz other person reply with Fi Aman Allah in our family
