^^ you are abosolutely right. I think OG is trying to prove a point based on subject terrirtory where the subjects dont want independence. However it is not meant to derail a thread more like an off-line discussion. But back to the subject, yes Pakistan clearly did have a hand in staging a protest due to self interest. It is in Pakistan and Irans interest to have a de-stabilized Afghanistan and that is what the article is trying to bring out. What I am trying to bring out is two fold one agreeeing with the article to a degree and the other to highlight that Pakistan does not want a stable afghanistan.
