Re: All Purpose Concealers
A super heavy duty concealer (should be used as concealer only, not all over foundation. is best for under eye and blemishes) is erase paste.
However, the colors are very limited and it is not good if you have have very oily skin (if you do, you should use a primer underneath).

Is your skin oily all over or only in certain areas?
If your skin is generally oily:
Make sure that your skin care regimen takes this into account. In other words, make sure that your lotion is not oil based.
You can use a primer over your lotion (I've had great success using 'matte it' from bath and bodyworks on clients with super oily skin). This has allowed the makeup to stay and not look cakey/oily all day long, even under harsh/hot camera lighting.
If you don't really have a lot of blemishes to cover, you may not even need a concealer. It really depends on how drastic the color difference between your cheeks and sides are.
If you absolutely need a concealer - try prescriptives. They can make a custom blend of concealer for you that matches your cheeks perfectly, would address your oiliness concern and have great coverage and blendibility.
The trick to not having your face look cakey is to make sure that you have a well exfoliated canvas to start off. Also, you should use a light hand with the powder and just use it to set your make-up.
It might be helpful if you could post a pic of your skin (sans make-up and any identifying features, i.e. blank out your eyes etc for anonymity) but this would really help to figure out what level of coverage you need.

Re: All Purpose Concealers
Any time sweetie. :)
Sorry, I missed the pic, but from the sounds of it, you are generally oily so the earlier comments apply. :)
Oh - and on a side note, I adore Shiseido's rice paper blotters. They are great to keep on your person. You can whip it out anywhere, mirror or not and take away the shine. And you can spot apply them to take shine away from specific areas (around mouth, nose etc). The best thing about this is that it does not deposit more layers to your face, and actually subtracts oil rather than just covering it up.
