Yes, they are Kashmiris, just like the pro-India Mohajirs are Pakistanis. But the majority of the Kashmiri people wanted an independent state, that is Pakistan promised them in 1989 when it incited them to rise up against India, but then reneged on the promise.

Kashmir being independent is a pipe dream. It will never happen. My guess is the LOC will be the future borders of both nations. Kurds have a better chance at their own state, than the Kashmiris ever will.

We should first give the right of return and facilitate the return of people like the Biharis who atleast have some loyalty to the Country... Why should we give citizenship to people who have no loyalty to our country and who would rather see it disintegrate then prosper?

Its to late now.. One no one trusts Kashmiris, and two, India would never allow it.. But if a plebisite were to be conducted on the lines of the UN resolution and Kashmiris opt for freedom, then there is nothing anyone can do.. .

Personally, I am against returning the refugees right now. Most of Pakistan's Afghan refugees are Pashtuns, but Afghanistan right now is ruled by a non-Pashtun minority which fought against the Pashtuns for years. Karzai is little more than a figurehead.
I don't like the idea of sending back our Pashtuns refugees to a country where they will be ruled by non-Pashtuns who despise Pashtuns.
At the end of the day, Pashtuns are a Pakistani people and Pakistan must look out for their interests, be they in Pakistan or in Afghanistan.

Pashtoons are a Pakistani people. No they're not. Their situation is just like that of the Kurds.
The Kurds were suppressed by Turkey and Iraq to such an extent that it seemed they would face extermination. But now the Kurds have a solid base - Iraq - from where they can develop and promote their national identity. Kurdish is now one of the official languages of Iraq, and Kurdistan itself is an independent entity (with its own flag and parliament) in all but name.
the same has happened to the Pakhtoons. They have solid ground in Afghanistan from which to focus on consolidating Pashtoon nationalism. The only reason the Pakhtoons of NWFP haven't risen up against Pakistan is (i) because of Islam, and (ii) because of their close relations with the military elite. but once these bonds disintegrate Pakhtoon nationalism will eventually win.

I doubt it very much. Yes, you're trying to cultivate ties with Israel and the West, but at the end of the day, you're seen as a threat and a breeding ground of fundamentalism. Hence, the recent US-India military cooperation.
But your comments sum up how true Pakistanis feel about the Pakhtoons.

The Pakhtoons are more clever than that. The ones in Afghanistan are now cooperating with India to promote Pakhtoo nationalism, both within Afghanistan and in NWFP. What you're carpet bombing is your own formerly loyal Pakhtoo pawns, that did your dirty work in controlling Afghanistan. The nationalist Pakhtoons of Afghanistan actually want you to destroy these traitors in Waziristan. You wouldn't do it, but you've got George W to deal with.

No. It was because you armed the Taliban and even sent in your regular forces to subdue the forces of Afghan nationalism. Yes, the Pakhtoons are backward but they won't be like that forever. Ethnic nationalism is a strong force in world politics today.
Just think about Yugoslavia or Czechoslovakia. Ethnicity is important in today's world. Pakhtoo ethnic identity has not only received a boost from Afghanistan's liberation but also by the large numbers of diaspora Pakhtoons.
