That is a historical perspective, in that you are correct.

The type of terrain is the same throughout many parts of Pakistan, and again is the type Pak Army trains on.

The terrain is the same in Afghanistan, which US Army conquered.

Actually, correct me if im wrong but didnt the US army conquer the air, while they left the ground work to the N Alliance!!!..
