My thoughts exactly but I think this drama has achieved a good balance of both the comedy and underlying messages so far. Most dramas usually choose to go to the very extreme side of things to get a point across.
The dialogues were exceptionally funny in the second episode. Akbar and Asghar’s parents fighting just had me in stitches!!! 
That Becky turned out to be verrry sly.

Yes, it’s getting very annoying. There are so many other places that can look like Europe!! I love Turkey. I think it’s a beautiful country but get over it producers already!

Liking it so far. Episode 3 was sort of a waste of time. Really wish they would do away with the background music. Hopefully, Akbari and Asghari get shipped to Pak soon so the story can move on!

Looks like Fawad is going to fall for Becky even though both are supposedly engaged to different people...will be good to see the Dastaan jori together again!

I think I am the only one with negative reviews on this drama. I find everyone's acting (except Imran Abbas and maybe Humaima) very OTT. The makeup is awful, clothes.. umm lets not go there. I don't find the dialogue funny at all. I fall asleep everytime this drama is on. I loved Daastan though by the same director. I didn't watch it from the begining so maybe Akbari Asghari is going to get interesting too.

I don't find the dialogue funny at all. I fall asleep everytime this drama is on. I loved Daastan though by the same director. I completely agree with you, Spiral. Everything about it is too OTT, the whole music they bring in every now and then for NO reason at all. I don't even find it funny, it's loud and annoying. Just not liking this one at all.

I agree that it is definitely OTT. It looks like that they want everyone to play their characters that way. What's up with the sparkly eyeshadow on EVERYONE in Turkey - it looks bad! And Sanam Baloch's outfits are horrible! Sometimes the music is so loud you can't hear the dialogues.
So far the story is very ho-hum. Hopefully it will get better when they get to the gaaon.
The mom going to Peer sahib's house was pretty funny even though Peer Sahib's wife was a very very very bad actress lol

I LOVE the boy's mother! She is a hilarious lady! I haven't laughed so much watching a drama in a very long time.
I am totally loving all the OTT acting. It's not like other "comedies" where they act OTT to be funny. Here, it's the fact that they are OTT that's funny, so it works.
I really wish the girls could get to Pak sooner though. Getting a bit bored with the main storyline right now.

Yes even though I don't understand all of the mom's dialogues, she is quite funny.
They are really stretching this out to make it 20+ episodes by adding faltoo scenes between the Phuppi and the family and the parents in Turkey carrying around a picnic basket and talking nonsense. Enough already yawn
Also find it funny that out of the whole family in the gaaon, only Imran Abbas doesn't have a Punjabi accent. I guess he couldn't pull it off? :D

Finally the story is moving on - loved how everyone was trying to interpret Phuppi Batool's 'leg piece'.
Nice to see Humaira Ali doing comedy for once... I think Iman seems to have a more striking resemblance to her than Abid Ali.
