Yes, you are right....my bad.
I followed only a couple of ODIs in the SL-Zim series series and Mendis' performance was just average by his standards in those 2 games.
But I went back to Cricinfo and checked Mendis' performance in each ODI of the SL-Zim series. Turns out he actually had a pretty good tour and even took 6/29 in the 4th ODI.
So yes, I was clearly wrong. Mendis continues to rock.
