Re: Aitzaz Boycotts

Exactly…both ZAB and BB have always been opportunist>>>

I just want to share this video where you can see how ZAB changes his stance looking at the public mood>>>

Re: Aitzaz Boycotts

^^ he was an opportunist and arrogant man. End results...we lost half of the country thanks to him and the military junta that was running the country at that time.

Re: Aitzaz Boycotts

But you've gotta give the credit where it's due Shamraz. The man, while being a politician, did tackle some grander issues such as holding the very first all-muslim conference in Lahore where all the muslims countries met and were on the brink of forming a united bloc just as u see EU today. Wouldn't that have been great? but to prevent such from happening, he was jailed and then later hung.
Another thing for which the credit does go to him is that he encouraged AQ Khan to come back to Pakistan and develop nukes for the nation, which we Pakistan prides itself on today.
Third thing he did was that he knew how to appeal to the public. Young and old, children and women, alike. He got the public's backing in everything he did do, right/wrong.
He always stood his ground at the UN and made a point whenever he spoke that sent chills down others spines and he didn't speak like a coward. He didn't if, but, umm, hmm. nada!

While i do admire Z.A.B. i feel the very opposite for BB. I think she's living off his legacy, and people are realizing that she can never be him.

Re: Aitzaz Boycotts

I agree, credit should be given where its due, but you can't deny the fact the played big part in breakup of the country. So, the question is should any one individual be more important than country itself?

Also, in bigger scheme of things those things really don't matter anymore, except maybe nuke program. He also nationalized Pakistan's industries which destroyed the country's economy.

BTW, my family has always supported PPP minus me. When Zia died in plan crashed I was like in 3rd grade, & I still remember how happy my dad was.
