anyways she has very pretty and delicate features no doubt but makeup place and important role as well i saw her without makeup here in Canada and she was looking like just another human being just a but attractive because of her delicate features a friend of mine looks like her (she claims that) so you see she is not the most beautiful women on earth - nor is angilena since she went through two rhinoplastic surgeries and yet she has a mota sa naak and its only her lips which are appealing otherwise she aint all that either...
this is true....these things are happening....
but who's to say that Ash and Abhi are doing this because they believe it or because their parents want them to go through with it.
btw...it's not nice to mock something just because your religion/belief system does not accept/allow it.
these traditions cause a lot of grief to manglik girls. it's very humiliating for them when their parents make them feel from birth that they're unlucky. manglik girls can only marry manglik boys, if a manglik girl marries a non-manglik boy, then, according to superstition, the boy is doomed to die within a year or so. many times the non-manglik groom's parents reject the rishta just coz a girl is manglik. if at all the groom's parents agree to the rishta, then some ritual like this is followed. it's very demeaning for the girl... i know because i have seen this happening with a cousin of mine... she couldn't marry the guy she liked because of this manglik business.
it's not abt mocking or making fun of a harmless tradition... traditions like this ruin ppl's lives, and they shd not be condoned. when u see educated celebrities like the bacchan family endorsing such traditions, it's all the more deplorable (assuming it is true).
