Is PIA's service good? My dad says its really bad..but i think the last time he went through PIA was a long time ago...so how is their service now??
Ur dad's right! PIA quite possibly is still as bad as it was wen ur dad travelled with them. I know we take pride in our national carrier but u know they r crap to put it bluntly. U spend good money and u expect something in return, with PIA u don't get the whole package!

I've travelled PIA many times and find disagree with you. Gulf, BA, United....you name it - PIA is better if not just as good as any international airline out there. Their planes are brand new, they've hired younger staff, and they're really pushing customer service. I have nothing but compliments for PIA. The only complaint I have with the airline is that they allow lousy passengers onboard.
While we're on the topic, I think Emirates has the worst economy class seating out there. On their 777 for instance, Emirates seats 10 abreast in economy - the most from any airline. Most airlines, PIA included, seat 9. Having one less extra seat makes a huge difference.

I havent travelled with PIA for a long long time so cant comment on them. Usually we take Gulf Air to Pak since we stop in the middle east for a few days. This time around we took Emirates and it was an awesome experience. I esp loved the fact that each seat had their own tv screen and you could watch watever you wanted to watch and not what the airline was playing. They had a huge selection and this made the travel soooo much better. Honestly, i didnt hate the travel so much this time around. They also seemed to have decent leg room.

Their planes mite b brand new but as recently as a month ago a fleet of PIA's 737's were grounded cos of a fault and safety checks were carried out on the lot. Also a lot of European countries barred PIA's planes from landing in their countries. Secondly I have flown with PIA about 6 times and the food was not Gate Gourmet standard, seats were stained in one of the planes and it smelled of curry in the compartment i was seated on.

I've flown PIA within Pakistan...if the standards on international flights are similar, I'd say avoid them like the plague.

We had a connection flight with QA from Doha to ISL and we had a good experience.

PIA is still better than many other airlines i have travel on.
i’m a very satisfied PIA customer and will prefer it over any airline any day.

Cathay Pacific is extremely good. Singapore Airlines is excellent as well.
