He doesn't have a website or facebook page. He's not commercial at all - more word of mouth, but has been doing it for quite some time. He has regular sell out exhibitions across Pakistan and has the jewellery made (all gold plated) in Udaipur, India.

^ Try and email him in the first instance. He's based in Lahore, but exhibits in Karachi and Islamabad as well and has done quite recently. I think he said that he would be coming to Karachi again in March/April.
I'll take some pics of the heirloom Hyderabadi jewelry I inherited from my mom...it's the real deal! Everything is in my bank locker, but I'm sure I've got some pics of myself from Shaadi ki early days wearing some. I think one of the most precious pieces I have is a karra given to me by my taiyi ammi...she have me her own bangle which is very similar to the one shown in these pics with the curved elephant heads, but mine is studded with emeralds & rubies..it's a dull, oxidized gold...I don't wear it much cuz the latch is so fragile, I took it to a jeweler once to see of it could be fixed, but they recommended I not do anything because it was so delicate and they couldn't guarantee not damaging it. It's probably close to 100 yrs old, my taiyi ammi got it during wedding to my taiya over 50 years ago and it belonged her mom....:)

^ He does not display in showrooms. He usually holds exhibitions around the country to sell his pieces. I believe he has a few coming soon, so probably best to get in touch via the email address above.
I personally went to a Sonar exhibition here in London. Although the designs were nicely made, they looked like imitation pieces from a distance. With Ahmad's designs, it's harder to tell. Mainly the polki like stones he uses is actually a mixture of kundan and polki and looks more like pure polki. He said even a jeweller wouldn't be able to tell from the naked eye, unless he had the polki examined.
In terms of price, he is a little more dearer than Sonar, but not much more.

actually he is ALOT more expensive than sonar. I emailed him about one of the med kundan sets and he quotes me 350,000 RS.

it was this one but just the earrings and the necklace, not the tikka or rings. I realize the necklace is bigger, but still one of my wedding sets was this size and it was real gold and it was around this price when gold was at its absolute peak

A little off topic, but I recently bought this pendant from Sonar, and I LOVE it!!! I cannot tell you how many compliments I get everytime I wear it. I definitely plan on buying more stuff from Sonar, especially for my cousin’s upcoming wedding…
