this notion is misunderstood by many…there is distinction between “equality” and “equity”…Very long and interesting discussion but I will just give them 1 verse…
إِنَّ اللَّهَ اصْطَفَىٰ آدَمَ وَنُوحًا وَآلَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَآلَ عِمْرَانَ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ
“Allah did choose Adam and Noah, the family of Abraham, and the family of 'Imran above all people,-” (Aal Imran:33)
