girls are getting proposals from older men - they have money, they're stable, more mature for marriage, and they want young girls. That's why you see it happen.

If guys sent proposals to girls their own age, you wouldn't see such huge age gaps. Kinda sick IMHO.

Pretty simple. The way our society is set up, girls can marry at an earlier age than guys and start looking for rishtas earlier too. Obviously they won't find any their own age because society demands that guys their age graduate/get a job/start earning decent money/settle before they can get married.
