after the wedding

Re: after the wedding

i cooked pulao and chicken tandoori for him and his family.
im blessed that my husband ONLY eats boneless chicken salan and white rice, and italian food because that's pretty much what's cooked in his house everyday, for lunch and dinner. i always joke with my mil that wow, you guys have NO grocery to do and no tension over what to cook, haha. however, he doesn't complain about any kind of food, he says alhumdulillah and eats it.
now HE is blessed that i LOVE to cook and eat something new every now and then. im big on desi food especially daal chawal, biryani, bhindi, etc and in the past one year, he has gotten used to it as well because i told him, sorry but im not surviving on pasta, chicken and rice.. how boring.
i still see him reaching for those 5 glasses of water and watery eyes when eating my biryani but doesn't complain. i see him gulping down the bhindi and i just sit there very amused.. lol.
i do make it a point to make his favorite pasta, etc when he visits but most of the time, we eat out. im in the process of working out a menu for when we start living together, im thinking i can alternate between my desi food and his italian stuff.. but no chicken and rice for sure.
