Back in those times word processing wasnt perfected and urdu fonts were a big pain to work with because of the way the script is. We had some really smart blokes, but word processing wasnt their cup of tea. I knew someone a long time ago in the early 90s who worked with nastaliq fonts and was his word processor was alot better than inpage, but the company who bought it did not release it as a commercial venture, only for publishing usage.
