i need to have all the hangers facing the same way in the closet.Mine are always like that but unfortunately hubby's aren't and that can cause some major issues...:(
In the morning,after i have made the bed and if God forbid the husband sits on a corner to put on his socks....don't ask...it's totally unacceptable...:(
When folding away bed linens after laundry,they have to be so perfectly folded that one corner sits on the other with every single fold....even then i am obsessed and i iron my sheets before using them every single time...:(
and sometimes when u r putting away the dishes after they are washed and dried especially the transparent ones like glasses etc ,even if ur hands are clean and dry,still it might leave a finger print on there...i will do that dish again(and i HATE doing dishes...!!).
and people think that i love makink orderly piles...thats not because i love it,its because i am 'obsessed'....duh...!!

…but the problem with me is that i just go nuts if i ever get invited to -or- have to pay visit to someone who’s house is not at all tidy

i was always like this even my brothers were sick of me but they were always sweet about it
i cant even dare to do this infront of him if he sees me even fixing somthing at nite he gets mad so i really have to control it when hes home

Niki and Samra, I'm with you guys, I have cleaning OCD too. Some of my crazy:
I HAVE to make the bed when I get out, even if I know that Steff will come home in 10 minutes and get in bed right away. I HAVE to have the towels in my bathroom folder properly, you know, three folds, no corners visible. I HAVE to have everything in piles, if there's mail on the dining room table, has to be in a pile and a right angle, because if it's not a right angle, it's a wrong angle HAHAHA I'm nuts
There are many more. When people come to my house they always say "you didn't have to clean up for me" and I always say "I didn't" heh heh.

lol, my MIL-to-be is like this. but she just has boys and messy ones at that. so she just spends her whole time being annoyed and crazy and 30 years of that it doesn't have a good impact on a persons personality. she can't even stand it if people are sitting and having tea because she doesn't like the mess of the dishes on the table so she makes everyone drink up super quick so that they can be taken away. it's so bad that if she's even at someone else's house she will start doing it. obv the host won't start clearing up because that's rude so she starts doing it herself!
i don't like dishes left lying around either but come on, let people enjoy what they are eating/drinking!
anyway, interesting question, i guess i will find out next year. i know him very well already so it will be interesting to see what things come out when it's just the two of us living together.

My thoughts exactly, me and my husband were raised very differently his mom and he are clean freaks, I'm normal. From the other person's point of view all I can say is that **it gets annoying. **I'm particular about hygiene and basic organization and cleanliness but my whole life cannot revolv around keeping the house clean, coz I enjoy doing other things too. I can't become like that character in desperate housewives , the one with the red hair, bree I guess, who keeps fussing about being picture perfect all the time.
