Well it's a team game. Afridi is one of the key players in the team. He alone cannot win you every game. As long as he bats sensibly and doesn't gift his wicket away (the main criticism of him in the past), it doesn't matter if we we lose. Both teams are about the same. Neither team is clear favourite

rehne do, aap log hi usse upar charhaate ho aur aap log hi ek second main usse neeche utaar dete ho...I can never understand pakistani qaum...mujhe ye do do soch rakhne waale log bilkul nahi pasand...agar team jeet jati hai to haar pehnaate hain aur agar haar jaati hai to galiya dete hain, putle jalate hain, posters jalate hain..
anyway, I've always supported Pakistani team, whether they win or loose, no team can win all the time, winning or losing is part of life..so why Pakistani behave so badly when the team loses or when a player can't perform well ...

^ if you ever notice difference “uper charhana” “putlay jalana”, nation criticizes or dislikes when they lose like a club level team. Whenever team loses with grace i.e. going down fighting nation supports the team. So lets not get emotional and differentiate properly

As someone said, Afridi is like drugs. you know it will kill you one body part a time but you keep doing it because nothing beats its high.

Afridi is often criticised for throwing away his wicket (usu. a reckless aerial shot) or not batting according to the situation but not necessarily because he's failed with the bat. No player or team can succeed all the time. It is not the defeat but the manner of defeat that is sometimes so hard to take. As long as the players put up a decent fight, sensible people would not criticise them unfairly and take defeat in their stride. Even the odd shambolic displays are ok.
He deserves praise for the way he batted in the last two games but I would not hesitate to criticise him if he bats in the same irresponsible brainless fashion against Lanka etc.

You don’t understand what I mean. I am not getting emotional, I just shared what the fact and problem of pakistani nation is. Whatever the way of losing it, whether they lose badly or after fighting, the nation has no right to do this “jahil stuff” like putle jalana, posters jalana, only “jahil people” do that. So hamare pakistanio ko khud ko “jahil” dikhane ka itna shok kyun hai. And it happens that teams lose like a club team..it happens with each and every team, so we could criticize the way they played, we could discuss how it would have been better, what they should do in future to avoid it etc etc, we could talk about it in a decent way, but the behaviour of pakistani people is just not acceptable.

Koi kuch keh kar to dikhaae, phir us par Afridi ki brilliant performance dekhna bhi ban kardi jaengi. People enjoy it so much when he rocks and makes sixes, ek min mein game jitwa deta hai single handedly!!aur wohi log jo Afridi ko ulta seedha kehte hain, pata nahi kis moo se uske sixes enjoy b kerte hain…(kis moo se??):halo:

I hope you have got my point now as I have explained above. As far as critizing is concerned, it's ok..and as a matter of fact, and as I've already said it, noone can be always in good form and noone can always give the best performance, if you are a sportsman you would understand it. I play badminton, and I understand it very well. Sometimes, even if I have practiced alot and everything is good but I fail to play, I don't know what happens..it just happens.. it's also something to do with luck I think..so and then you have so many people to critisize you while you are always feeling guilty, anyway, critizing in a decent way is ok, my point was only the bad behaviour of pakistani nation doing that jahil stuff.
