the reason why many in the west support israel is because of their dislike for muslims. you'll find 100% of knowledgeable non haters have immense sympathy with palestinians for what they have been put through.
with bloc politics (islamic bloc, western bloc etc) the precedence set with the recognition of israel will have negative effects for years to come. in effect there will be no islamic politics or bloc.
if islamic countries do persue the road of peace (two state solution) and succeed. that will be a success worth waiting for. this will enable islamic politics to go forth and continue playing a part in world affairs as respected members of the international community
no success means no respect, and the question 'why did you make a fuss in the first place?'
i urge muslims to gather their thoughts in this period where change is inevitable. to choose a direction they are all happy with or to choose to ignore the islamic connection with others.
choose a calm, progressive, conservative future, its the only way islamic countries will be able to defeat some of todays growing problems of unrest and disagreement.
