Any proof of the usage of brutality..? i have read quite a few reports on the internet from different news and other channel and none said so... or u r just talking like BUSH...
Sometime its good to accept the reality whether its against ones own ideals... if you want to look like a sensible person... otherwise you can always carry on your ways.. doesn't hurt me atleast..:)
Are you kidding? Every human rights organization can site mass examples of widespread abuses by the Taliban. It's human rights record was atrocious and dozens of UN reports confirm that. Are you really denying this?
^ What about the poppy? The Taliban told people to stop growing it (so they could increase the cost of it and sell their supply of it for a greater profit, which was highly successful) and said those who did not stop would be severly punished and when you are told you are going to be punished by a gang of thugs who chopped off a woman's finger as punishment for wearing nail polish you tend to listen.

Can you show me any report on which they say the "TALIBAN USED BRUTAL MEANS" to destroy the poppy cultivation.?
Remember while searching do remember that we are talking about "USE OF BRUTAL MEANS BY TALIBAN TO STOP THE POPPY PRODUCTION AND ONLY POPPY PRODUCTION AND NOTHING ELSE"..

I do believe that there were quite a few mistakes made by Taliban but that doesn't mean we put blames for undone wrongdoings on their shoulders. After all there should be a clear distinction between civilization and barbarism. My actions shouldn't cross the lines of the norms of the civilized world, no matter how much i hate any group.

if 93% of gloval narcs come from a US controlled country (ya ya, nato gato pato mato bs)if u.s is sincere about war on drugs, this is a low hanging fruit to kill that supply once and for all. what will it take to create an alternate source of income for these people? may be a 10th of what is being spent in the US for catching drug pushers, maintaining them in jail and losing productivity of millions of kids
