these armed forces make up soldiers of other countries too not just the united states. as far as i'm concerned im trying to be as neutral as possible and not trying to defend anybody here. i'd like to remind you that there are 20,000 muslim american soldiers in the "kuffar" american armed forces if you want to only target the american soldiers here.....

as i see it though the taliban are animals, they aren't trying to defend their country. they're blowing up schools and stopping women from getting an education by blowing their schools up or trying to blow them up

how are nato forces destabilizing pakistan by being in afghanistan? wasn't zardari the one who said that these armed forces shouldn't leave afghanistan too soon. if these coalition forces leave afghanistan would pakistan stop fighting the muslim taliban?

hazara are shia, they've been persecuted for years by the largely sunni taliban. is this something the united states made up or are they facts?

afghanistan is not an islamic country, it's a muslim majority country, just like pakistan is not an islamic country since full (sharia)islamic laws aren't enforced in either country......am i wrong?

          On what grounds are you labeling NATO and the U.S as invaders? When all the facts and figures exist to inform you of NATO/U.S mission in Afghanistan; This is a war of intervention to stop Taliban and Al-Qaeda and not an occupation. The initial coalition entrance into Afghanistan was very small, providing assistance to Afghan fighters resisting the Taliban. The NATO mission that followed was set up under a UN mandate, and remains in Afghanistan today at the pleasure of a sovereign Afghan government, which was chosen by the Afghan people. We are sacrificing our soldiers, spending substantial amounts to train advise and equip the Afghan Police and Army, and billions to reconstruct and rebuild an Afghanistan destroyed by decades of war and neglected by the Taliban regime.  The only enemies of the Afghan population are Taliban insurgents who do not miss a chance to stir up chaos and cause more innocent deaths by indiscriminate means. In fact, Afghan’s themselves use the term “enemies of Afghanistan” as shorthand for the Taliban. The Taliban’s intolerant ideology towards other religions resulted in multiple and recent attacks on Sufi shrines where they managed to kill dozens. Is not the terrorists’ only religion self interest and power?  These terrorists continue to conduct attacks on Pakistani and Afghan soil, yet you are still engrossed with a false rhetoric of U.S. “invasion?” Is that helping you help your country?

          Afghans were once oppressed by the Taliban who turned the country into a safe haven for Bin Laden, Al-Qaeda and their extremist agenda.  [When thousands of  Muslim Hazaras were killed at the hands of the Taliban,](http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/asia/un-finds-mass-graves-of-hazara-killed-by-taliban-656771.html) which Muslim countries on the basis of common religion, came to stop the killing? Are the oppression and killings demonstrations of Muslim solidarity?  Let us not be naive enough to believe that countries form alliances based solely on religion. Granted that culture, religion and tradition play an important role, however, national interests and common goals are the key point behind such alliances.  It is in the interest of Pakistan, the US and the entire international community to eradicate terrorism in the region. Henceforth, it is a common goal of the Pakistani Army and ISAF  to create a stable and peaceful environment where the youth of these countries no longer experience fear and poverty and can live in a world of freedom and prosperity.

Drug enforcement is a police and not an army duty. We never, as an army, claimed to go into Afghanistan to solve the opium issue.           For example, do not conspiracy theorists once again present a self serving reinvention of our operations in and our relationship to Iraq?   Our role in Iraq is reduced to military to military diplomacy and the ongoing training of Iraqi Security Forces.  The representative government of the great sovereign nation of Iraq is, without US interference, responsible for oil contract auctions that were open to bid by countries around the world and sold to maximize the common financial good of the Iraqi people.

Saddam Hussein’s legacy of human rights abuse includes conducting all out war against the Shi’a and the use of chemical weapons against the Kurds, creating a land pockmarked with mass graves. Saddam and his Ba’athist regime did not discriminate when it came to killing their people; Sunni, Shi’a, Kurds, Turkmen…all suffered alike. Where, dear readers were the conspiracy theorists’ sympathy for Iraqis and where was their outrage against Saddam’s murderous regime?

          In Afghanistan, have you not forgotten how the oppressive Taliban regime killed thousands of Hazaras, and brutally executed men, women and children so they could suppress dissent and rule by fear?  In Afghanistan have you not forgotten the protection the Taliban provided for Osama bin Laden’s Al-Qaeda, a terrorist organization whose self-serving ideology pretends to defend Islam and Muslims, even as they intentionally target and indiscriminately kill the followers of Islam?  Who, dear readers, has killed more Muslims than the Taliban and Al-Qae’da?  No one.  In Afghanistan and Pakistan have you not forgotten how Al-Qaeda and Taliban conduct frequent suicide attacks on civilians, use innocents as human shields and brainwash children as young as 11 to explode themselves and others?
