Well AF/PAK says it all! The U.S is linking Afghanistan with Pakistan through the use of TTP. Once the **protector **and supporter of TTP goes so will TTP. The US is fighting an AF/PAK war. In Afghanistan it is through CENTCOM and in Pakistan through its proxy the TTP.
