Aesiha Varsey Brides

Can someone post brides by Aeisha varsey ? what is her price range for bridal outfits?

Re: Aesiha Varsey Brides

I think her bridals are mostly modeled for makeup, etc. Sabs uses her bridals allllll the time in her photoshoots, some of them are really gorgeous!
Aeisha was on a show once, and said all her bridals are REALLY heavy because she hates brides wearing anything light. Her starting range is 3 lakh.

Re: Aesiha Varsey Brides

I really like Aeisha Varsey’s work but haven’t seen any AV brides. I wonder why?

Re: Aesiha Varsey Brides

I went to her studio the other day - she's really trying to hit the big leagues, going by the prices she was charging. There were only a couple of bridal wear outfits that started at 3 lakhs and the rest were in the range of 4, 5 and 6 lakhs. I understand that each designer has a signature style, but it was the same old tired work I saw 2-3 years ago with just some variation of colour and pairing longer shirts with ghararas. The outfits are also extremely heavy to wear due to the work and any bride would simply bulk if she had to endure a whole evening in one.

Her mehndi outfits weren't bad; they were a new line, although they didn't have the price tags on them yet.

Re: Aesiha Varsey Brides

Then, why is she modeling for her own outfits? Wants to save money on modeling fee, perhaps? :konfused:

Re: Aesiha Varsey Brides

The outfits she's modeling in those pics are pretty ancient. I remember ordering an outfit from her back in 2005-6 when she first opened her outlet at Park Towers. She dealt with me directly and also took the measurements herself. I don't remember seeing a single assistant at hand to help her.

I think the studio at Park Towers definitely gave her label a lot more recognition. With all that moula, she now has a beautifully decorated studio in Clifton and uses the outlet in Park Towers for Pret-Wear etc.

Re: Aesiha Varsey Brides

my friend just got her outfit from aeisha varsey for 600,000 ruppees, and at that price you'd think the designer would keep the customer happy...

the dress was changed aLOT from what my friend had originally chosen, main thing was the style of kaam was COMPLETELY different to the style she had asked for!! she wanted fine work and aeisha varsey had put big chunky stones in which made it look like an indian laynga!

the worst part was when my friend asked her what happened, aeisha varsey insisted this was the kaam my friend had asked for!!
talk abt customer service, she should at least have admitted she changed the work!

i for one would not recommend her at all!

I usually don’t criticise anyone’s work but this bridal outfit is overly done and overly coloured. With little less colours and a little less kaam the dress would have looked much better.

The dupatta is not matching at all and doesn’t seem to belong to the outfit.

my cousin had the exact experience 4 years ago! she paid over $6000 for her dress from karachi and they changed it completely from what had been originally discussed.

They bombarded the shirt with gold sitara everywhere, to point where you couldnt even see the banarasi ka kapra underneath on the shirt (no joke..couldnt even see the fabric) and the bordering was done in a dark ugly forest green made of VELVET?? with large white stones on it that just looked cheap!! it was originally supposed to made of a banarsi border with gold kaam! ..nothing at all like she had wanted. i would also not recommend her. my cousin had to pay an extra $500 to have the shirt shipped back and have them take off the all the extra sitaras two months before the wedding. its so funny because the picture of the bride wearing the red and blue looks ALMOST EXACTLY identical to the work and kaam of my cousins dress, except hers was in a sea green and pink colour. ...and thats NOT what the original looked like. the kaam was completely different, it was all sitaras work??? what kind of designers give away their dresses with cheap sitarara ka kaam, now a days its all about crystals and intricate detailing... it was very poorly done. and the worst part...her dress had started ripping from the bottom before she had even made her entrance!! horrible service...doesn't care about her customers at all. wouldn't trust this designers service. i think she takes advantage of the customers who are not there in Pakistan to hunt her people down and she knows once she ships the dress internationally, nothing can be done about it.

heres the picture. please don't quote it please, i will be removing it in a little bit.

Re: Aesiha Varsey Brides

^ 6K for THAT! OMG, taht is absolutely horrible. And yes, since when is sitara work worthy of an expensive bidal?
I remember seeing a lot of sitara work on formals at Shakeelz in Karachi. They quoted something like 40K for a formal that had nothing but sitara work. And it was so lame, to the poitn that my cousin said to them 'that much for nothing but sitaras???' .

yes i dont understand why this dupatta is yellow either?? ugh i hate her work. i dont know about her new stuff but after going through something like that..can't stand her designs..

Re: Aesiha Varsey Brides

Sana your cousin's outfit has same dupatta border as the one in the pics I have quoted. Seems like there is a little variation in her dresses . Infact your cousin's outfit seem similar to the above said outfit. It's just that dupatta is of same colour as lehenga.

Re: Aesiha Varsey Brides

I think she is quite expensive but my experience is really very good with her ...I have given my mehndi dress to her as well ..

Re: Aesiha Varsey Brides

Sana repost pics please! I was seriously considering Aeisha Varsey for my engagement dress!

Why don't I send it to you. :)
