i think the one under the quickie is quite harmless… dunno wot popups ppl are talkin about. i havn’t seen any but i don’t think popups should be allowed caz they are quite annoying.

- there will never be pop-ups on GS.
- the second ad has gone up. we are adjusting such that it will always show text ads. i hope its not too distracting.
- the ad in the right hand quickie area is removed. we have decided to have only two spots for google. one up there and the other in between posts, each appearing only once on any page.

Make sure to filter some ads because I see some inappropriate ads and its not good for this website.
For example:
"Meet sexy Pakistani Girls in Qatar"
"Malika Shrewat Photos"

I hope you have someone monitor the ads on their content and effectiveness. Perhaps use Google Analytics with AdSense.
