There is no disadvantage to either gender. Males and Females alike have a different nature and hence, the advantage will be different from person-to-person. Even within the same gender, there is a different advantage from person-to-person and 'advantage' might be the same in both genders. Like for example, a person can say that 'women are more active than men' whereas men can say that 'women cry about things a lot' even though both don't have to be true. There are also women who are lazy and men who cry about things a lot, hence, this will be different from person-to-person. Allah created each and every person with His will and Allah knows what he created.
