He wasnt an actor, he was a genius! Somewhat like pakistani legend Moeen Akhter. Both left us in an early age.

its so sad and painful, it was always a treat to watch him on screen, got best supporting actor Oscar in 1997 for superb performance in good will hunting, RIP....

Actually this observation sounds correct. As much of a big smile he always kept, his eyes did look sad. One news mentioned he reported to see demons sometimes.

i just heard on Radio, while driving home, that he was facing financial hardships. he had to pay a lot of money towards the two previous divorce settlements. he didn't have much work. he did some commercials to make ends meet. he also supported his extended family.
in the last call of his life to one of his friends, he talked about his money crunch and he was very sad, depressed and worried because he no longer could support his own immediate and extended families.
he was found hanging from a belt in one of his rooms. :(

i would have been the 'last person' on the planet earth to LOVE, admire and respect any Holly, Bolly or Lollywood characters...i loved, admired and respected Robbin Williams from Hollywood, Moin Akhtar from Lollywood and Dilip Kumar from Bollywood.
makes me sad to see these legends go one by one...i wish N pray that Yusuf Bhai [Dilip Kumar] lives longer. aameen

Very sad. A great deal of talk about depression now. I work with allot of people who suffer from depression and it really is heart breaking seeing them so alone. It needs to be recognised more and seen as an illness through no fault of their own. Very sad.

Apparently he was in the early stages of Parkinson's Disease as well.. Poor guy.. May he rest in peace..
