Re: About sehri& Iftaar
Fajr time starts right from the azaan or right before they are ready to pray in the mosques? Im asking this cz… this morning I could not wake up in sehri but I woke up with a sound of azaan from a nearby mosque. i quickly got up and in my sleep drank that little water in the glass next to my bed. when i opened my eyes a little, i heard that the sound was not of the ‘azaan’ but of them starting the fajr prayer.
Although, mom used to say that one should stop eating/drinking as the azaan starts but I thought that was to be on the ‘safer side’. And actually it is before the ‘dawn’. the ‘dawn’ does not start until after the fajr prayer is over.
so, the point is… should i be doubtful about my today’s roza?
