What makes you think ISRO is maintaining Airforce planes?
It is not Pakistan, where army safe guards the border, check electricity meters, runs colleges, controls water supply and last but not the least rules the country.

Actually, Russian, American and some European technology, but assembled in India.
Ya guys, thats why we have do these years of testing like all other countries. But if we had the brilliant Pakistani scientist, we would have inducted our missiles in the armed forces in the very first test and send our men on the moon without giving a second thought.
There is a famous saying before you run learn to walk.
After 25 years you could not build an engine for your failed Arjun project but you build jet fighters, Satellites, rockets, super computers... Do us a favor please pull these stunts somewhere else.

Very true Abdali, so the problems faced in the production of Arjun tanks was the process of learning how to walk. Arjun tanks are today inducted in the army.
And thats what I meant, for perfecting anything you have to undergo a lengthy process. But Pakistani military surpasses that law, I bet they started mass production of Al-Khalid tanks right away.

After 25 years Indian army only ordered 124 tanks for cosmetic reasons, scraped the project ordered T90s is now upgrading T72s with imported parts for Arjun, project Tank EX

Abdali, I dont see any logic in your statement. Is producing tanks a precursor for development of space program. They are two seperate fields of technology irrelevant to each other. Indian space program was launched in the 50's and has taken so many years to mature, whereas the idea of developing an indegenous tank was born in the 70's and the project actually started in the early 80's. The basic fact is if you put in enough money in a given sector you shall be able to develop that sector. Why do you see the americans are very good in some sectors like aircraft production but not as good in some areas like say electronics. It is just because they are not focussed on that sector and other countries like Japan who have traditionally focussed on that sector are much better.
