Re: ABN-AMRO Twenty/20 Cup 2006/07

Congratulations to Sialkot Stallions, commiseurations to Karachi Dolphins.

Great match, both sides deserved to be in the final, Fawad Alam was the find of the tournament, this kid has plenty to offer. Karachi missed their captain Afridi, while Sialkot had the brilliance of Rana and Asif.

Re: ABN-AMRO Twenty/20 Cup 2006/07

that's the dark side of this business.. for example: if there are numerous lads who can like hurl like 14 sixes in a row, but the only one who can hurl 15 will make it to the national team.. not a fluke can make it.. now if this kid fawad for some reason can't make it to the team he will end up working as a coach for the domestic team or even a sports school, or maybe --who knows-- even working as say a welder just to earn a living (kamran akmal has been 1:D).
i m definitely not wishing him bad luck but i really don't want anyone to be misled into the goody-goody thought that hard work ALWAYS pays off no matter what --especially in professional sports.
