AAO BACHON SEIR KARAIN TUMKO PAKISTAN KI..... ...is actually a film song from the B&W movie of 1959..titled "BEDARI" starring; Santosh Kumar, Rattan Kumar, Yasmin...and many others including our famous TV artiste of today; QAZI WAJID.
This song came in when Santosh Kumar--the Headmaster of school takes the pupil for a study tour of Pakistan. Since BD was EAST PAKISTAN then...there's a good part of Dhaka, Rangamati, Kaptai and Chittagong including the tea gardens of Sylhet--shown as backdrop of the song.
I was 8 years of age---when I last saw this movie at NAZ Cinema-Karachi with my marhoom Mamoon.
Rattan Kumar---was the SHAN of today...then! he played a double role.
Disdainly--this song was cheated by Indian film Industry also.
