LOL, But thats how I pronounce it in English, If I were speaking in urdu, I would certainly pronounce it PAA-KIS-TAAAN!! I hate to speak in English in an urdu or hindi accent!!

Idk rarely do I see any Hispanics, Italians,French ( u know those with fancy accents) butchering their names to make it sound more Americanized/English. while hum desi.. hi. its Say Naa ..
its just my biggest pet peeve anyway...

I must agree with you. Queen should not mispronounce it, even President Obama knows how to pronounce PaaKisTaan correctly. :)

Lol. The thing is, the field I belong to, focuses on accents and pronounciations too much, maybe it sounded to you that way. I remember, when I was doing a recording for Radio Pakistan in a Production House and they wanted me to pronounce a very Khaalis and Gaarhi urdu… while in the same production house, when I was recording alphabets pronounciation stuff for a Convent School, I had to follow the American/ British accents. So, thats how I have learnt it and got addicted to it.
