I have.. and he is the same. He's got a nasty foul tongue ON-screen (when the camera's aren't rolling) and OFF-screen too. He was using similar language at a charity dinner organized in Dubai last November too... nothing about this video is fake, this is the real AL.

I had the honor of being in company of a grand mufti from Pakistan and the kind of adult jokes he used to tell were the same ones I like to tell in the company of my bestest friends.
P.S 1: I am not a mufti , Alim , scholar , sheikh , moulvi or sufi. I am an average Joe like most of folks on these forums.
P.S 2: I have not been in company of another scholar in a way I was with this one so I might be giving you wrong impression about other pious scholars who are pious to the letter.

My MIL is so disgusted. She was a such a FAN. My hubby LOVED telling her '' I told you so".
He should resign even though similar tapes have surfaced about our presidents and their off air personalities and snide comments.

Now he is digging himself deeper by denying it (by blatantly lying about it).
Talk about his general theme of being a FAKE!
He still expects to fool people and laugh at them for being such fools.
He is probably not going to sue Geo because then Geo will fight back for its sake and it might go to court and expose him for good.
Even though Geo shares responsibility of letting this happen on their show and its sets with its crew members.
Geo and ARY are part of the story so they are not going to do a story on themselves.
Why don't the other good for nothing assinine 'News' channels do a story on this and expose him and all such 'aalims' jo ooper sai kuch and andar sai kuch hain ?
They are always tooting their own horns ad nauseum and totally ignore important stories.

don't really like the guy or the way he talks and do not like the fact that he tries to push his pro-Taliban agenda every now and then and hatred toward the West. Annoys me to no end when he gets on his soapbox and starts lamenting Western society as being evil etc.
He has improved his acting skills a lot since he started on Geo. Used to have a really bad nasal sounding voice and awful clothes. Looks like ARY has given him decent clothes this time around.
The video seems out of sync in a lot of places. I am not surprised that he was using gaalis (which I don't understand) since every guy uses gaalis when he's hanging out with friends. He is no different. If people were thinking that he was some pious molvi type guy then as someone said "told ya so" lol

^ yeah he sometimes makes fun of the people who are calling by imitating the way they talk - so childish.
the other day he was saying this about Qari Waheed Zafar Qasmi sahab - qari sahab aatay hain phir kaheen ghayab ho jatay hain aur phir waapis ajatay hain.
Who says these things if they are supposedly brought up in a respectable manner?

theres two things I want to say ( not related to the video )
I saw Amir Liquat on his show saying along these lines " hum tho hum hai , sab hum kiyo ban rahe hai " hinting at the other channels doing ramzan transmission after him . lekin agar pakistani channels isko follow kar ke islamic cheezen dekha rahe hai then its supposed to be a good thing and he should be happy and not like oh they are copying me.
And then last week I saw on QTV he dedicated a whole show to talking against Geo and critising their ramzan shows. Lag raha tha ke ratings ke chakar mein khe raha hai and jealousy bhol rahi hai. So Obviously jab aise batain start kare ga phir nateja acha nahi hoga na.

I dont know why GEO is being blamed for..I noticed aalim online clip was nothing longer compared to the ARY transmission in the video..If you see the video most of the clips were of Sehri transmission of ARY!!!

btw there are rumors that Geo Tv leaked this video since its a compilation of very old videos from his Geo days. Them removing it is proof enough of its authenticity:p smart move geo! pay back's a b@@ch
