I guess he is a better option as compared to his competitors on other channels (in my access). Those shows are more traditional and lack creativity and humor. Aamir bhai is humorous (as he is not natural) and he is smart ( ). During sehri and aftar, every one is busy doing something and no one is much interested in listening traditional khutbas or mullahs. The only show that is a bit different and still within limits is the one hosted by Aamir bhai…..So I can never like the person and I have no other option.
Normally popularity of a show is estimated by the advertisements it can generate and I guess "Aalim Online" gets the most. May be more than required. Now this thing is confusing. Is it the most favorite show? At least on advertisement it is.

He CAN be criticized, first because he is a celeberity, second that he is posing as an Alim himself, reading tafseer infront of a mixed audience. Atleast Geo can hire some authentic Alim who can answer people's questions with some authority and full knowledge.

look guys, the thing with most of us is that we donot have insider information on most of the things... the guy is a fake i can assure you, I used to like his program simply for the fact that he brought the shi''aas and sunnis together... but you see,, his degrees are fake, he is an MQm candidate (an organization known fro killing many innocents).... and ther's a lot more then... I don't watch his program anymore. His program might be an islamic one but its all an attempt at self glorification.
