I am not saying that US interference is always good. Just like others, US does things to suit its purpose. Sometimes those things align with us and sometimes they don’t.

The sad reality is that we Muslims (Middle East) have not reached a level of civilization where we could solve our problems without anyone’s interference. Be it US or UN or Russia or EU. If outsiders are not there then believe me, we will be living in a medieval society. Even worse, because Islam’s medieval society was far more civilized than our current society.
We will be slitting each other’s throat and if possible, even nuking our civilian population.

It is for this reason that I wholeheartedly wish that there remain the outside interference.

I agree with your post, except the last line. I believe we should develop political maturity ourselves to look after our issues.
