Yes.. I wouldn’t want my (future) daughters to marry until they’re financially independent.. I wouln’t want them to ever be in a vulnerable position plus I don’t think it’s healthy in general to rely too much on others..
.
A husband and parents are supposed to support their wives and daughters but sometimes that’s not possible.. or sometimes they choose not to or take advantage of the person in a weaker position..

My parents raised all of their daughters to be financially independent. It’s a matter of being able to provide for ourselves if the need arises because one never knows what the future might hold.

Yes its important. You should always take pride in your own accomplishments…makes you a more confident person. You should be capable and I think its important for your husband to know you’re capable as well.

it definitely is important…you never know you may need to provide for yourself in the future, and if you are not independent people that are supposed to be in a position of trust may take advantage of you or choose to treat you badly because on a subconscious level they feel aap kahan jaoge cuz u r dependent on them
