If you've already made a place in his heart with him finding you physically attractive and by having chemistry/compatibility with him.......then cooking a delicious meal (I think) would strengthen those feelings some more.....but it's not enough to maintain a relationship.......and it's not the sole factor in winning him over.
But you might be able to increase your chances if you cast kaala jaadu over the food...or serve the dish in nothing but your apron.
and what about those who don't find their spouse attractive? and those who don't have much of chemistry (assuming an arranged setup)?

And you seriously think that even then ...being a good cook...is enough to sustain the marriage? What about times when your spouse is NOT eating? What will one rely upon then to make the marriage work?

No i mean it seriously. What happens to those couples? Only cooking wouldn't get them anywhere so its not really that a way to man's heart is via the stomach. Its more to do with how attractive they find they wife, hanna?

Goes both ways, Daf. It’s common sense that it requires MORE than just being a good cook to make a marriage work…you’re not gonna be eating all the time. Life is not all about food. If only it were that simple.

You think that attractiveness is enough for men? What if she has a horrible personality or if there's not emotional/cerebral connection? And is attractiveness not important for women? Attraction/compatiblity are complicated. It's not just one thing that makes a relationship work.

Couples that are not phyiscally attracted to each other must find something else to build their relationship around. Men have phyiscal attractiveness as an element among other things. Is it paramount for marriage? Nope. Is it necessary to attract the guy? Yes.
Life and marriage built on a foundation of many elements just like a house. You have foundation stones, concrete, pillars etc. You need it all to make it work.

Yup - Need a lot to make it work .. compatibility, chemistry, trust, respect, love, empathy, care, understanding & lots of other things.
There was a time when these words were just words that I kept hearing on & off but they truly mean something when it comes to marriage. There is no one such formula that works, its a combination of a lot many!
