On behalf of YKKB and the entire Friends Of Pakistan volunteer team that spent countless days and hours to make this mela a huge success, I would like to wish everyone on GS a very happy Independece Day with a an old number from the group Awaz (Haroon's former band).

Those questioning the authenticity of this message. I dont need to prove anything to you guys. But we did make the video and took hundreds of pictures from the event. If you are so curious i'll give you Haroon's contact number or his manager's contact number and you can ask him yourself if he wrote this note.
And those calling him fake and over-rated and pathetic, you guys can all shove it where the sun dont shine. You guys should be supporting Pakistani artists and performers, instead of sitting here on a forum and giving your dumbass opinions that are worthless.

Great times. I really liked the one at USC and Colisiem as well. I got some awesome video of Haroon performing. I"ll be posting it somewhere later.

I just heard a rumour going around about him being gay, that's why I asked.
Overall, I think the mela was boring, too crowded and all the food that I wanted to eat was out by 5pm.

Yeah sure. When you do spare some time from your busy life, do post a pic, a cellfone pic will do. Any other details besides him looking gay and no food after 5PM will also be great. Like how many people showed up roughly, who else was there (I heard Abrar was coming as well but was a no-show), what was the mood of the people.
Haroon and his manager left LA extremely happy, besides their pockets being a few thousand dollars heftier, they loved the publicity and the response from the crowd.
Btw, he is releasing a new album and I will be getting a signed/autographed CD.
