Here is why i disagree with you. In her case she got no choice but to have “sex outside marriage”. I don’t believe she used works premarital sex.

As for interpretation of ANY religion being varied just look around u. Ahmed I non Ahmed I Shia sunny just within islam. Every religion has room for interpretation. And she has every right to her interpretation.

Her Piety - interesting choice of words. To me pious are those who use religion to bring down someone. She is simply finding her way. Her own path.

One could argue that she is NOT using harsh language. Nit even labeling her critics as “BSing”. While the kindest words said about her here is BSing.

I have no issue with her lifestyle. I don’t even care that she doesn’t follow Islam. I do think she should stop telling others that it’s okay to pick and choose parts of Islam. She specifically mentions flirting with others and wearing miniskirts. Definitely not open for interpretation. People have an issue with her saying that those rules can be disregarded. They don’t really care if she breaks the rules, most of us do, but don’t tell us that you can choose the rules you want to follow. And this is coming from someone who is definitely not religious and often breaks rules. I don’t think being open minded is a license to change a religion. I’d rather you just said that you disagree with the religion.

Anyway, let’s agree to disagree.
