If she loved the dress so much, why wouldn't she wanna wear it again? If I searched days and days (possibly even years just like every other girl on this forum), I would LOVE to get the opportunity to wear it again.
she gets to be the center of attention again (and not overshadowing another bride)
Plus, the dress adds to the dramatic element of the valima....
her hair is up, the dupatta setting is different--she has a differnent look in San Fran than Lahore.....
and she did have a new trouser suit on later in the evening:)
