There is no way to reconcile being actively gay with Islam. If that were possible, I would find a way to make drinking halal for myself. The possibilities are endless. Yes Islam is a multi-faceted religion and not everyone agrees on everything, but homosexuality (the act) is one thing all schools of thought are unanimous on.
