Irem, you should consider writing light hearted novels - you have a good cheerful flow (too many 'likes' but ....).

khayr, I do believe what I wrote in that thread :-)
I mean its something like, all Muslims know and will agree that one must pray 5 times a day and someone who does not is not a GOOD Muslim, however its not necessary that everyone who says that also prays 5 times a day, but Islam's position in this matter is clear.
so isi tarhaan ka issue ye bhee hae larkon se dosti wala. khayr, dosti k bhee boht saray levels hotay haen and u call anyone who u r informal with a "friend", i mean if there is someone u interact with and ask for help with sometimes, do thora botht hansi mazaak with, then there no other name for that relationship but "friendship" :) like i guess i'll call u my friend too :p
but there r limits u can set in this relationship, and i think the more formal/aloof/impersonal the better.

I think I said something along what you said in your other thread and people didn’t agree with me that you can talk to opposite sex for school related purposes or work related purposes and ‘friend’ is the only name you can give them. You don’t have to go to lunches etc. to be friends, as you said friendship has many levels

Shikra ofcourse you can talk for school related stuff or other stuff. Like, there is no female in my office that drives, so who could I have asked to park my car BUT a guy, u know?
Yeah friendship has many levels and obviously jitna close aap same gender friends ke saath hotay haen utna close aap opposite gender ke saath nai hotay aur hona chahiyay bhee nai.
And I think one should steer clear of discussing personal matters.
However, I have have guys friends with whom I have discussed personal matters too, not many but very very few.
I am basically a very friendly and open person so I get friendly with people fast, but I am making an effort now to curtial my “friendships” with opposite gender coz its not a good thing basically.
