The new ball WILL seam and bounce and the pitch will benefit Pakistani bowlers. A target of 150 will make for a wonderful contest. Also of note, the opening bowler of Ireland was able to extract some swing, so there is no reason why Pakistan cannot do the same. A good bowling pitch it is, and shall remain for the duration of the contest.**

My prediction: as soon as Ireland starts batting, the wicket will mysteriously ease up, the ball will stop swinging and the batting will suddenly start to look easy.
